We have a very special announcement to make. Drum-roll please…. We are thrilled to be opening our newest dispensary in Albuquerque’s historic Nob Hill area in December 2023! As one of New Mexico’s oldest and most trusted cannabis companies, we have always wanted to expand our presence into this area and be able to offer quality cannabis products and education to the community who live there. When the historic Model Pharmacy building became available, we knew it would be a perfect fit for us and that we had found our new home.
Verdes Cannabis has deep, deep roots in Albuquerque. Rachael Speegle, our CEO, is a proud alumn of Highland High School and has fond memories of growing up in the Nob Hill neighborhood. The Model Pharmacy was a staple here, and as a wellness-based company, we are super excited to be transforming this beloved building into a modern-day pharmacy filled with nature’s remedies. It has been a true labor of love to bring this historic building back to life.
We chose a cabin-like theme to create an inviting and cozy atmosphere while still incorporating iconic features of the original building. It’s the perfect blend of old and new, where we know everyone who comes in will feel welcome and comfortable.
This new dispensary will allow Verdes to bring our high level of education and care to clients in this area of the city. We pride ourselves on having the most knowledgeable and well-trained staff in the state. We can’t wait to be able to answer your questions and help you on your wellness journey!
To increase your experience, phase two of this new store is in the works to open next year. We are transforming the original café into a unique concept where you can buy infused juices, coffees, elixirs, and non-intoxicating edibles. A little something for everyone! Stay tuned for more information and opening dates for the café.
