Have you received results from the testing lab?
Yes! We have received reports back from the testing lab that there were no harmful substances found in our beverages. We are dedicated to providing high quality products, so even though these beverages are not harmful, they don’t meet our brand standards and we will continue our small-batch beverage manufacturing process to ensure you receive the best possible product.
Why are you conducting the voluntary recall?
This voluntary recall was initiated after an inspection of the product revealed abnormalities, specifically unidentified particulate matter that was observed inside the product. We have sent samples for testing to identify the particulate matter.
Our customer’s wellbeing is our greatest concern and mission.
How can I find out if my beverage is included in the voluntary recall?
The beverage products were produced between the dates of September 8 and November 29, 2022 and distributed in New Mexico. The production date can be found on the bottle:
What should I do if I discover I have a beverage that is included in the voluntary recall?
Please do not ingest these beverages and return the bottle/s to the place of purchase for a credit.
What substance(s) did you find in the beverages that prompted you to conduct this voluntary recall?
This voluntary recall was initiated due to a recent inspection of the product that revealed abnormalities, specifically unidentified particulate matter that was observed inside the product. We have sent samples for testing to identify the particulate matter.
What should I do if I consumed a beverage that is included in the voluntary recall date range?
This voluntary recall is being conducted due to internal inspections that revealed product abnormalities. To date, we have not received any indication of illness, adverse effects, or health impacts. As soon as we receive details on the nature of the abnormalities we will communicate that information. If you have urgent health concerns, please seek medical attention.
Are there other products affected by this recall?
No, this voluntary recall only applies to our beverage line. This issue is isolated to equipment used exclusively for beverage production.
Will Verdes Cannabis Beverages be available in the future?
Verdes Cannabis has established an alternative manufacturing process to bring limited quantities and offerings of cannabis beverages back to market beginning December 15, 2022. Verdes is confident that this changed manufacturing process will remedy the concerns that precipitated the voluntary recall.
