Introducing verdes cannabis on zafarano
We are so excited to announce that we will be opening our second dispensary in Santa Fe right off Cerrillos Rd. and Zafarano Dr. very soon! We are looking forward to providing our local Santa Fe community with reliable cannabis education, excellent customer service, and safe access to quality products. In the meantime, we know you have questions and we have answers!
Q: When do you plan to open?
A: We are so close! We just passed our inspections and we are now waiting on our business license to come through. We are hoping to open around Wednesday, November 30th. We will send out our opening date via our newsletter and social media accounts. Stay tuned, it will be worth the wait!
Q: Why did you decide to open another dispensary in Santa Fe?
A: We always knew we wanted another location in Santa Fe because our Shelby St. dispensary was intended to introduce tourists to the Verdes brand and to provide a comfortable space for out-of-staters coming from places without a cannabis program to ask us questions and learn more about the benefits of cannabis. We are like the information booth at tourist sites, but for cannabis – that’s who we are. Because we know that our Santa Fe Plaza store serves more out-of-state clients, we wanted to open a store away from downtown so that we could serve more of our local Santa Fe community. We always intended to open up a location for our Santa Fe locals, and that is what our Zafarano store is, it’s for the community of Santa Fe. Safe and convenient access to quality cannabis is something we believe in so opening a store off Cerrillos and Zafarano was the right move for us.
Q: Will this new location have the same products as your other locations?
A: Yes! We value consistency, and we want our clients to be able to walk into any of our stores and have the same access to their favorite products
Q: Why the location choice for your new dispensary?
A: We are a lifestyle brand so we wanted to be in a location where you can pick up your household items at Target or get a haircut at the salon next door, and then stop by Verdes for your wellness needs. Being in an accessible retail area, we provide a convenient and normalized shopping experience for our clients. As a household brand for many, we are on the list of errands to run on a Saturday afternoon, so we wanted to make it easy for the Santa Fe community to access our welcoming environment, reliable cannabis education, and safe cannabis products. We wanted to be closer to our Santa Fe community’s daily lives.
As the Head of Education & Culture for Verdes Cannabis, a legacy cannabis company in New Mexico, Kelly is responsible for researching, creating, and delivering cannabis education to not only staff but also to clients and the community. She has extensively studied cannabis for the last 5 years, receiving several certificates from the Medical Cannabis Institute and Medical Marijuana 411. She continues her studies by attending medical cannabis conferences and monthly webinars with the top researchers and doctors in the field of medical cannabis. She enjoys being able to use her extensive knowledge and training in cannabis to educate and help others learn about this amazing plant.
